Mike Mentzer Full Body Workout

Mike Mentzer Nautilus Workout

Did Mike Mentzer do full body workouts? Many belive that Mike Mentzer only did split routines, and while he did use split training he still also sometimes used a full body workout on Nautilus machines, similar to the type of training routine that Author Jones used to help Casey Viator win the Mr. America contest at only 19 years old.

This post will detail Mike Mentzer's exact full body workout as told by Roger Schwab the Owner, Operator of X-Force Gym in Philadelphia.

Mike Mentzer Full Body Workout Routine

Mike Mentzer and I trained together, on and off, for nearly a decade in the 1970's. We trained in Maryland, Washington D.C., Gold's Gym in Venice or Main Line Nautilus outside of Philly, it was always the following workout or close to it. Whether Mike was in or out of shape, on "supplements" or not, this was the workout that he ALWAYS favored, at least when he trained with me. THIS was the workout he utilized in the summer of 1980 in preparation for the Mr Olympia contest in Sydney.
